TEDxKLU Hamburg 2026

TEDxKLU Hamburg took place on 21 February 2026 at Kühne Logistics University. Felix Uhlig hosted the day – in English, in front of an audience of students, researchers and guests from around the city. The heading was "Finding your spark in a world on fire": how do you find what drives you again when everything around you is burning?

Nine talks were on the programme, and they had very little to do with one another. They covered artificial intelligence and robotics, sustainability and behavioural science, neurodivergence as a strength, women's health, entrepreneurship under uncertainty, and humanitarian logistics in a crisis. That is exactly what the format is: not a single thread you can read out, but nine independent ideas one after another.

The work of a TEDx host therefore lies in the transitions. A talk ends on a strong closing line, and seconds later the audience is meant to be ready for something completely different. Say too much in between and you take the previous speaker's effect away; say too little and the room is left at a loss. Felix Uhlig set the transitions so that every talk kept its resonance and the next one still started cleanly – along with the welcome, the breaks and the close of the day.
