Hosting in Berlin. Bilingual. Without the hype.
Event host Berlin: for conferences, trade shows and galas
Berlin is the most international stage in the country. In the same room you have founders, board members, people from the ministries and press from four time zones. All with different expectations of the same evening.

The Berlin factor
Felix Uhlig as an event host in Berlin
My job: to make every one of those groups feel included. From the first minute, not just after the break.
On Berlin stages English is rarely the additional language. Often it is the main one. I host in German and English at native level and switch mid-sentence without the pace dropping or anyone dropping out.
One thing gets noticed here quickly: pandering. Grand statements, buzzword bingo, energy that sounds like a sales pitch. A Berlin audience smells it immediately. I host calmly, precisely and with humour that doesn't wear anyone out.
Booked in Berlin at IFA, at Greentech Festival, at the M&M's Film Festival and at charity galas. From a trade show stand with 200 people passing every hour to an evening in a ballroom.

How I host in Berlin
One audience, three expectations, one thread
You know the feeling? The programme is international, the speakers are good, and yet half the room feels like it's at a different event. Because the delivery only works for one group.
That is exactly where my work begins.
I read the room before I say the first word. Who is sitting at the front, who is here to network, who understands the specialist subject and who only half of it. Then I set the pace, the language and the tone accordingly. Not by the running order, but by what the evening needs at that moment.
What that means for you, in concrete terms:

Two languages, one show.
German and English at native level. Your international guests don't get the short version, they get the whole event.
You don't have to host as well.
While I hold the stage, you have the conversations in the foyer that you put the event on for in the first place.
No hype-speak.
Assured, relaxed, with a wink. And serious at the moment it matters.
Trade show stage or ballroom.
Those are two different disciplines. An open stand stage with people walking past works differently from a room with seated tables. I know both.
Complex stays comprehensible.
Tech, energy, mobility, industry. I translate specialist subjects so the experts aren't bored and everyone else isn't left behind.
Brands like Würth, SIXT, Samsung, Audi and Faber-Castell trust me with their stage. Not because I'm loud, but because I deliver reliably.
Honestly: in Berlin there are plenty of people who can fill a stage. Considerably fewer who can hold an evening together.
Client feedback
What clients say about my hosting in Berlin
When our original host dropped out at the last minute, Felix stepped into the breach and proactively took over the briefing and the exchange with our speakers. Live on stage he did an incredible job. I cannot recommend Felix highly enough.
Dale RickertGlobal Head of Product – Greentech FestivalWith eloquence, humour, perfect English and a great deal of sensitivity to the situation, Felix Uhlig hosted our HELLA international management meeting. His drive contributed substantially to the success of the event. Thank you once again for your professional hosting – always assured in style and yet relaxed.
Professional, enthusiastic and cooperative, Felix contributed substantially to the success of the IoT Show at the Samsung stand at IFA. The way he presented and demonstrated the products drew large numbers of visitors. Thank you for six days of great work.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about an event host in Berlin
And if your question isn't here: just call. Five minutes usually clears everything up.
In Berlin I mainly host tech and business conferences, trade show appearances and stand stages, panel discussions, award shows and gala dinners. Most of that is bilingual or entirely in English. From a stand stage with passing visitors to an evening programme with 1,500 guests.
Yes, and real English at that. No schoolbook English, no Denglish. I host in German and English at native level and switch between them live. At international Berlin formats that isn't an extra, it's the basic requirement for everyone in the room to keep up.
Among others at IFA, at Greentech Festival, at the M&M's Film Festival and at charity galas in Berlin. Plus trade show appearances and conferences for international brands. New venues are no problem: I clear up the technology, the running order and the stage situation with your team beforehand.
No. I organise the journey myself and usually travel the day before, so that nothing on the event day depends on a timetable. I calculate travel costs transparently and as a flat rate, so you see one number in the quote and not a maths problem.
Honestly: for 100 euros we won't get into conversation. But you don't need to budget for household-name television money either. A fair offer sits somewhere in between – it depends on the scope. Just call: +49 40 1805 80 80.
Those are exactly the moments where I'm sometimes the answer. Call, talk it through briefly – and if it fits, I'm in. It has happened more than once. It has always worked out.
As little as possible. I need a briefing call, the running order and some background – I handle the rest myself. You should be able to sit back. That's what I'm here for.
Yes. In person, online, hybrid – I handle every format with the same energy and professionalism.
