AstraZeneca CVRM Tagung 2026

Three days, one venue, one continuous programme: Felix Uhlig hosted the AstraZeneca CVRM conference 2026 at the Hilton Berlin. CVRM stands for cardiovascular, renal and metabolism – the part of the business built around the heart, the kidneys and metabolism. The stage brought together the company's kick-off topics, presentations from the specialist teams and the launch of new products.

The conference ran under the heading "CVRM City". The set was a city: artificial grass instead of a stage floor, a park bench instead of armchairs, a bicycle, neon signs, and programme items called the city forum or the city park. A set like that only works if the hosting plays along – anyone introducing it in standard conference language leaves the scenery behind as decoration.

Three days on stage means three days of holding attention. Alongside the talks the programme therefore included audience interaction, interviews on the park bench and conversations with the people behind the products. It closed with a shared pub quiz as the evening event – the same people, the same host, and a completely different tone from the morning.
